Tractor
John Deere 3032E with rear hydraulics
I sold my JD 2320 with loader and 54" MMM a few days ago. It was a good tractor but I previously had owned a JD 3320 and really missed the size and HP. I am looking at purchasing a JD 425 zero turn for my mowing needs and possibly a JD 3032E with loader. I have test drove the 3032E and really feel comfortable on it. I do have some concerns. Will I miss the dual brake pedals? What about the joystick position on the 3032E v/s the position on the 3000 twenty series? What about all the plastic? I like the 3032E tractor because it is bigger than the 2000 series but it is smaller than the 3000 twenty series. Any advise from other 3032E and 3038E owners would be appreciated.

start doing some test drives. decide what you will miss.. and what you can live without, before writing that check.

Lt220, I think that once you have split brakes and get used to them, you are likely to miss it on subsequent tractors that don't have them. I also think you are likely to not get many responses here in the general forums for your specific question relating to the JD models. Since your thread title doesn't list your models, there is nothing to "hook" the JD owners to read your post. I wish you luck, and certainly you are free to post anywhere, but I think a post of this type really will get you the most help in the JD Buying/Pricing forum.

Why not just buy another 3320?
If you need a dedicated mower (maybe the 3320 is too big for your mowing?), look for a used 3320 and a decent riding mower.

I guess my next question is why you sold the 2320 (since that seemed to be a good compromise for your chores)?

I guess the main reason I sold the 2320 is the lack of power and quickness on the hydraulics. This probably wouldn't have been a problem for me but it was hard to get used to going from a 3320 with 34 Hp to a 2320 with 24 Hp. I am basically looking at the 3032E or 3038E because it is bigger and more Hp than the 2320 but it is a smaller tractor than the 3320. I like the feel of the 3032E because it is short and has a wide footprint. With both tractors sitting side by side the 3032E is just a little taller but is 6 inches wider than the 2320.
