I would like to find solid rubber or puncture PROOF tires sized 11x4.0 for a Befco Finish mower that about 3 days older than God. I have found some smaller ones, but searching for some that would be bolt on without having to fire up the lathe, and using up all of my good swear words.

Thanks

Why not save yourself some grief and just have your existing tires foamed? I kept getting flat tires on our finish mower because of thorns and finally just decided to have them foamed. Same tires just no more flats.

Check some tire dealers in your area and I'm sure you will find someone local that can fill them for you.

I agree with PineRidge. Had my front tires filled with foam (turns out that is solid rubber). Cost me about $80 each and added about that much weight to each one as well. Took them in on a Thursday, they filled them on Friday, but wouldn't release them until Monday since they had to cure.

I posted several photos of the process (got in trouble with that one) at foam photos
