***Coming Soon: Business & Industrial to Expand Item Specifics to More Categories***
Date: 01/07/05 Time: 06:13:34 PM PST
In mid-January we will be introducing the Item Specifics feature in the following categories within Business & Industrial > Construction > Heavy Equipment >
Dozers
Excavators
Lifts
Trenchers, Riding
Backhoe Loaders
Skid Steer Loaders
Trailers
The Item Specifics feature will also be available in the Business & Industrial > Industrial Electrical & Test > Industrial Automation, Control > Control Systems and PLCs category. Using Item Specifics is free and optional.
For sellers, Item Specifics help make it easier to present a clean, well-organized description that clearly articulates important equipment details that buyers want to see. For buyers, Item Specifics improves the ability to find the right item for a given application, and buyers will also be able to search for items using Item Specifics a few weeks later.
Item Specifics will be available for sellers who list items through the Sell Your Item form, Turbo Lister, Seller Assistant, Seller Assistant Pro, or Selling Manager Pro. This may require downloading an update for these eBay seller tools (except Selling Manager Pro). If you utilize a third party listing service (for example, Andale, Marketworks, etc.), please contact them to verify that they will offer the Item Specifics functionality in these categories
We have started two threads on the Business & Industrial discussion board to provide more detail about the upcoming changes. To access the Heavy Equipment thread click here.

eBay
