I just came across an ad with an individual trying to sell a Yanmar F265 i think it was, stating John Deere made these tractors and Re-Badged the Under 50 HP range with Yanmar Decals? Is he serious? clearly another one that has no idea whatsoever....:confused2:

Here is a 1993 model YM1700B. My research shows this tractor manufactured only in 1979. Interesting that one of the features different than the plain ym1700 is that it has a water pump. Notice the full length side curtains also. Even though mis represented it might be a good buy with the equipment included. 1993 Yanmar Tractor

yea that 1700 sounds like a gr8 deal. the guy dont kbow wgat he has but if tractor isnt knocking asnd has compreesions id say thats a good deal.

Yes yes yes. Hindsight verses foresight, but I wish I had known that there was such a place as this *BEFORE* I purchased a used gray market Yanmar.

But at least you guys are here to help now.
