I stopped by my NH dealer today to take a few shots of the new tractors on his lot. Here is a picture of an old and new Class III Boomer and others in the background.

Here's a spiffy new TC55DA. I have forced myself to not sit on the seat. I want it bad enough just standing beside it. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Now you can say the new lights give you a better view with the loader, but the upper lights are about where the old lights were and if you raise the loader up about a foot, I don't think you can see the lights at all. If you need lights for loader work, buy a lighted canopy or put lights on your ROPS. ...you can quote me on this when you tell your wife you gotta have it. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

<font color="blue">Jim,

Nice pics... but honestly, I'm happy with my TC35D, the A series doesn't seem to offer much more...

But that front end auger really interests me... especially today since I tried to dig some post holes this afternoon... with very limited success... between the rocks in the ground and the ground being moist to the point of mush on top, and hard as the rocks strewn throughout it a foot down, I wasn't getting a lot of bite... gotta call the dealer for the "Down Pressure Kit" tomorrow and see how fast he can get it to me. I'm dying here... gotta get these holes dug and the posts in and the fence up and my horses HOME!!!

That front mounted auger looks like it'd really provide some down pressure! What provides the turning power to it? Looks like a long way from the PTO shaft <grin>... Does it have a separate hydraulic motor on it to give it spin?

You could probably hook it up to the curl control...you'd only need the boom control to move it up and down. You could adjust plumb by moving the tractor. Or you could use an extra remote with llloooonnnggg hoses. Or you could use the controls from a 4-in-1 bucket, like a grapple.

Yeah, but you'd miss the HST /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Man-- Thats still just a chore's tractor. Think "BIG BUD"

Or maybe a slightly smaller version.

Belltec Industries - Belton, Texas

Stoney, the auger has a hydraulic motor that could hook to your new remotes. In my photo, the auger is just attached to the FEL, but no hoses have been rigged on this tractor. I'm not sure what flow is required to run the auger(10-13 gpm is recommended), but if you check out the link, you could give them a call and find out if there is a dealer in your area. Our tractors have almost the recommended capacity, so the auger might work okay. They also have a 3PH auger with down-pressure. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif They even make a rock drill so you can put T-posts into rock and concrete. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I didn't get a price on the auger. I saw it and stopped because I'd never seen one before, but the dealership was closed, so I didn't get a price. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
