son's first tractor came with questions

Hello,

My 17 year old son just bought his first tractor, a Kubota L2850 2 wheel drive. (he worked his tail off at Tractor Supply to buy it on his own)! We recently replaced the fuel pump and the metal hyd line going to the back of the tractor, but now it seems to have sprung a leak and I think it's coming from the canister on the side of the hyd pump. (looks like an oil filter but I know it's not). And, the center caution light just lit up. There are 5 lights across the bottom of the gauge panel and the only one I can't read is the one that lit up. Can anyone tell me for sure what the canister is and which light I should be seeing?

Also, I am wanting to replace the turf tires with ag tires on the read (it has 330-80-D20 turf tires and I want to put 12.4 - 24 ag tires on it. Will the same rims work or will I need to replace the rims? Thanks for any assistance!

Isn't the "cannister" you're talking about the hydraulic oil filter? Without seeing it, I wouldn't say for sure, but that would be my guess. And yes, to change from turf to ag tires, or vice versa, you have to change wheels, too, so it's rather expensive.
