Mahindra 2555HST Cab and Kubota BX2330
I put a deposit down on a 2555 HST Cab, and the dealer is currently loading it out with all my additional hydraulics. I ordered it up with 2 additional remotes, WR Long third function, loaded rear tires, rear wiper, FEL w/ bucket and forks, BH w/18" bucket.

I have a lot of work to do before the ground gets frozen, and a lot to do once it is! We have some trees to put back in the ground and various plants to move, some drainage controls to dig, rock and debris piles to move, etc.

I'm currently on 5 acres, but hopefully expanding that to an additional 45 behind our property soon.

Is there anything I should have the dealer do/check before they deliver? And when they deliver, is there anything specific I should make a point to check?

I plan on adding a block heater before the winter sets in, just in case this poor beast has to live outside (currently finishing up a 900sqft heated garage).

This is my first tractor I'm purchasing, and might be my only depending on the future. I also have a BX2230 that I use to mow the yard and do small chores around the property. I tested out all the big names (green, both blues, orange, reds) and Mahindra sold on me with the built in weight for size, no dpf, and the price was right.

I had a couple of hydraulic leaks out of the gate. I would recommend taking a wrench to all the fittings to make sure they are tight.

One issue we had with our 2538 was the 4 main bolts on the backhoe, under the operator platform, would loosen up every 25hrs or so.

Alright. I will definitely check them. Did you have any leaks under your operators platform?

Interesting. No loctite? I plan on going over the tractor as much as possible over the weekend, it's raining here now so I'm not sure if the ground will be dry enough to actually work in the yard by then.

Nothing under the platform. One leak was on a line to an outrigger which caught my attention quickly. The other was one of the backhoe lines which took me a little longer to notice.

They have a dished and serrated washer, doesn't work.

See if the dealer will throw in the block heater, or at least help you out on the price.... worth a try.. As with any new tractor, crawl underneath and make sure all the drain plugs are tight, tie up any wiring or hoses you want to keep up out of the way, and do a general touchy feely all around the new beast. Lot easier to spend time under and around while she is still fairly new and clean... Wiggle stuff and enjoy.... :)

Have the dealer install the block heater while he is adding the other stuff.

Make sure they do the latest computer update before it leaves the dealer. I had them check mine and it had an old update. There's an issue with it no raising rpm with old update. Only real issue I saw is my FEL hydro lines touched my front tire on a right turn. I had to tie strap them out of the way. Otherwise it's been a great machine so far
