RE Using **** to indicate “offensive” language.
(corrected #2 version)
Sorry I posted what my thoughts were...When I began reading
the operating manual for my just purchased 20K tractor
and found that Deere says LOADER USE IS NOT APPROVED for
any 4210 or 4310 (because track can't be widened to their
spec) my brain said WHAT THE (blank) you fill in the last word.
Or maybe it was when I read that if the oil light stays on after
starting to run the engine at full power...
I wrote the word as one letter and some asterisks which I see
has offended the "family" that uses this website. I'm sorry
if I offended anyone but there is no other word that came
to my mind or that I could possibly use to describe Deere's
chicken (blank) way of doing business.
(I've had a loader/backhoe for 20 years and know all about
ballast, center of gravity etc. All four aren't always on
the ground but they've always returned to vertical...so far)
If I saw pictures in a sales brochure that shows a loader
and I buy the exact same setup I'd expect to not
see it UNAPPROVED after I buy the tractor.
And since the manual had been out for years I would am a
bit disheartened to see they don’t bother to correct a mis
take that could easily cost a novice his engine.
I don't know what you other fellows think when you are con-
fronted with utter nonsense or stupidity. Maybe Oh Shucks?
I've watched this website for about 4 years and for the most
part haven't seen the uncivil behavior especially poster to
poster that I see on other websites. I just thought the
one letter and the asterisks were OK. I see that all the time.
To me that is like when you are talking to someone and they
use an inappropriate word or phrase but lower their voice
way down. They know it's improper but need to say it but
soften the blow.
I consider my hand slapped and my mouth washed out with soap.
Other than that, a big Happy New Year to all you Orange, Green,
Blue, Red, Yellow (and any other colors) operators out there.
dig on,
