SOS to Manual

Ford 2000 with select-o-speed trans.and 4 cylinder engine... I want to get rid of the SOS trans.and replace it with a manual trans... I want to know what model Fords will have manual trans. that will interchange. I think the 600-900 series will work and the early 2000-4000 4 cylinder models will work also. Will the later 2000-4000 3 cylinder models bolt up? Thank you, gregjo1948

That's what I think, right up thru the 700-800-900 models and the early 2000-3000- 4000 also. I would like to know about the later 2000-3000-4000 models with the 8 speed trans.and the 3 cylinder engines...Thanks, gregjo1948
