LET ME ADD (EDIT) LS Tractors


A week or so ago I was posting and narrowed down my results

36-40 HP
Cab
Front End Loader
Back Hoe

Uses: snow removal, work around the shop moving scrap, waste oil drums, and occasional digging

I fell for the Mahindra 3616 Shuttle Cab

I had a little souring taste with dealer, and some other minor issues

I liked the price range of the Mahindra, and I am still very seriously looking at them

What tier 3 models are still out there with a cab does anyone know? I was looking at the new Tier 4 models 1736, 1742 but seeing list price, gave me sticker shock. Any ideas on pricing, also wanted to make sure I got the heaviest loader DL125


Any suggestions, I am going to call around tomorrow and explore options and dealer stock, but I would like to sound somewhat intelligent.

I know there are still some Kioti DK series out there...40/45 and 50 tier3,Don't know about if there are any Cabs left.
Worth... looking into...1763lbs lift on the loader to full height properly ballasted, Heat, AC, am/fm cd player, tilt wheel, cruise, 3 cupholers, rear remote, extendable lift arms,
quick attach on the bucket....... all.standard equipment:thumbsup:.

Best tractor value Kioti ever offered IMO.

If you want a heavier loader you'll need to step up to the 1749, it has the DL130/135 (old version/new version).

But the DL120/125 is still a tough loader.

I'm a Massey fan but I hear ya on cost. In truth, all of the tractors are good so it'll come down to how you feel personally after sitting on all of them. Also, if you're getting a backhoe, and plan to use it much, make sure you not only try operating the different options, but also the removal and hookup process... Some might be better than others.

I have to get around and find some seat time as well on these others, I had a local Massey Dealer, but they are no longer. I like what I see on the LS Tractors, but I am a bit gun shy with Korean Made. Japan does not scare me

I wouldn't be too worried about that. While I feel that Japan builds are a bit better, S Korea is no manufacturing slouch. There's an obvious jump in price for Japanese built tractors, but I don't know if that's related to manufacturing processes, or other logistical or political costs.

The quality of Korean tractors is very high, and the evidence here in the various forums for Korean brands suggests few experience serious problems. Korean manufacturing has come along way...there's a reason Hyundai (of which LS is a descendant) hasn't been hurt by offering 10yr/100K mile warranties on their cars for the last 15 years.

My LS was flawless, and would likely still have it if I hadn't needed something much, much larger.

I and most of the people in the Kioti forum will stand behind the S. Korean manufacture. I have a 100 trouble free hours and that's on the low end of what other owners have.
