FYI- I used to buy and sell a lot of gov't surplus. The biggest lot of ammo cans I bought was 5600 of them, mostly 30 cal. but some 50 cal. My bid price on that lot was $.19/can. In 3 years, I moved over 20,000 of them. Most sold for $3 or 2/$5. I wholesaled a ton of them for around 2 bucks each. I quit buying them from Uncle Sam when the price got over $.75
Sure wish I had some of that $$$ now.
