I'm looking to mount a rearview mirror inside my tractor cab like the ones that the bigger Deere tractors have in them. Most of the ones I've seen mount in the upper right hand corner of the cab.

There has to be a cheap aftermarket source for stuff like this, but I've looked in TSC, Shoup, Harbor Freight, and Princess Auto without finding what I'm looking for.

I suppose a fellow could mount, say, a 4" or 6" round convex blindspot mirror from a truck inside the cab, but I'd prefer one of the rectangular ones that would look like it belonged there, if you know what I mean.

Anybody done this or know where a fellow could order one? Well, besides a factory Deere or CNH one that'd most likely be quite expensive and not easily mountable in a Kubota.

Try a larger truck dealer or truck stop!

Just last year I wanted to do that same thing on my L series Kubota. I checked with the dealer and that is not an option for the L series, but it is an option for the larger M series. I had him check on the price and even tho I cannot find it at this moment, it was surprisingly inexpensive. There was two parts to it, the mounting bracket and the mirror itself. I wish I had the figures here in front of me, but I don't.
Other folks I believe on this site, have bought a rear view mirrow like the one in a ski boat. Any marine dealer should have something for you.

Last year I purchased 2, one for each side rectangular mirrors from CTC and mounted them in the cab (Laurin) on my 4150. The price was probably right and I think I mounted them to a heavy piece of flat bar and bent it to fit the side of the cab and bolted the the bracket thru the cab. They look like a factory installation. Let us know what works for you.

Called my Kubota dealer about the M-series option but they were closed. They used to have a night owl working there but he's on to bigger and better things now I guess. I've looked at a bunch of truck-type mirrors and nothing has cranked my tank yet. CTC?? Never thought to look there. I pass one twice a day. Might have to stop in tomorrow and see what they've got. When I finally get something I'll try and remember to post pix of what it ends up looking like.

This one looks about like what I'd wanted, and presumably the dash mount option would work in a tractor somehow.

I went to the junk yard and bought a rear view mirror out of a Ford Crown Vic for $5 and purchased a new mounting tab for $6 with adhesive.

I mounted it in the center of my windshield and it seems that it will work out nice.

A friend of mine years ago did something similar in his car. He found a wide angle rearview mirror in an auto parts store. I was about 18" wide and about 2" tall and gave a wide angle rear view. He could almost see the side doors in it.
