Grading SOWBLOWER OR BLADE FOR BX2350

I live in N.W. Ohio. We recieve a fair amout of snow each season. I do a lot of residential driveway clearing and am strongly considering a blade or snowblower for my bx2350. The snowblower does itrigue me. Whatever attachment I choose, it must be for a front mount.

This blade is on my BX1500.
It is also for my BX23.
It will fit your BX2350 too.

Whichever way you go, be forwarned that according to a lot of posts here, both the blades and blowers are in short supply, and not just for Kubota. Seems most tractor makes source their blowers and blades from RAD, which is backed up right now with orders.

Front mount, then a blower definately.

I'd still put a rear blade on too. gets the really packed stuff up

With a blower there is less problem with drifting since there are no banks. IF you have room to blow the snow it's a great solution.

I live in upstate NY and we get a fair amount of snow. I've never used a blade for snow removal so I can't speak from experience regarding that option. But I have used the BX2750 blower for over 8 years now and I'm very satisfied. The only time I think about a blade is when we get the occasional ice/slush storm in late winter/early spring. The chute can plug up if you bite off too much or you don't move the chute deflector to wide open. Still, I've never had to resort to removing the blower and using the FEL and although I've toyed with the idea, I have yet to get a rear blade.

I have two tractors, one with a blade and one with a blower. I like the blade for the 1 and 2 inch snows.

If I could only have one it would be a Blower.

I would have to ask what kind of surfaces you are clearing. If they are all paved and smooth I would get a blower. I have destroyed a Wheelhorse front blower and a walkbehind Ariens because of stones etc. I clear driveways, but only one is paved. So I own a blade. I prefer blowers for neatness and no piles, but consider the conditions you will be operating in. The blade (60" hyd angle) is really a fantastic unit on the BX. Either way you will not be disappointed.
