Im wondering if someone knows if you can buy spacers for the rear wheels on a YM 1500. Id like to move the wheels out about an inch.

I dont know of any but think it may not be a good idea. Like running the front tires reversed or running a truck with spaced out tires it will put much more strain on the drive train and bearings doing that. Not sure if can safely (no damage) do it or not?

Yanmar actually made spacers for them, I ran across a set a guy had in his field, he buys used implements and such at auctions and they were in a lot he bought, yanmar name was made into the metal so I know they were authentic, I gave $30 for them. Only set I've ever seen, so good luck finding some. They do exist though.

There are sites that have rear wheel spacers for tractors. They are pricey. You need to know your bolt spacing, diameter, etc.
I'm having a set made for my tractor by a machinist. He works for a machine shop and is making them from scrap pieces from larger jobs in his off hours. Attached is a drawing another member sent me which is what the machinist will need. Mine are 2" thick instead of the 1" you want. Mine is a 6 lug on 6" center. I need to space them out in case I need to install chains. I have less than 1/2" gap without spacers and can't mount chains without spacers.
My wheels are not interchangable. You can't swap them to the other side since the offset is too shallow that way and you can't mount them that way.

Just noticed the 1" part. Thats only 2"s wider im not sure you will notice much difference?

You do have your tires swapped to the widest spacing right? This means the "dish" shape on the rims faces out. If the dish faces in on the rims your in the narrowest stance.

The spacers I am referring are more like hub extensions, each are about 6" long and each end bolt up to existing hub then to rim, makes tractor about 1' wider, actually these might be to install dual tires.

Thanks for all the advice. Ive already reversed the rear tires. I drilled spacers for the fenders & moved each one out 2 inches. Im looking for a little more fender to tire clearence. Only have an inch now.
Thanks again for all the help Wally Lyon
