Make no mistake if I were unhappy I would start a thread about that, however when one has a good dealer that information needs to be put out for others that it may help. Got my 2210BD on 7/28/08, even got to ride with Steve to pick it up. Everything was fine until (I think the dates I am going to use are correct but at any rate they are close) 9/13/08 and I had some power loss, called Steve 9/15/08 and we decided I would bring it to his shop. 9/20/08 took tractor to his shop, seemed to be an injector problem, he put a new one in and I am on my way. 9/23/08 something not right, call Steve tell him still have a problem and the first thing out of his mouth is "We'll make this thing right." No hem NO haw No nothing except a commitment to give me the support a dealer should. He asked questions I answered and it appears I had a bad injector pump. Did I want to put it on or him to. No brainer I want to. He called his supplier to have a New pump shipped to me. I fell through a crack here most likely because it was a late afternoon call, stuff like that happens. 9/29/08 call Steve part not here, me in one ear supplier in his other ear he requests this part get shipped today. 10/1/08 Steve calls me to see if I got the pump,I did. 10/3/08 got it on this afternoon tractor seems good, will know for sure in the morning. Just wanted people I have a good dealer.

Last sentence should read "Just wanted people to know I have a good dealer." Got a couple of hours seat time since putting pump in and all is well with the tractor. Sort of fun working on it, now it seems more mine.

I bought a YM2210 from Steve about a year ago and have been extremely pleased. I checked other dealers close to my home in south Georgia and finally decided to drive about 250 miles to Spalding Tractor. The UTDA tractors are without a doubt a step above and I was sold over the phone after talking with Steve. His supply trail is transparent: tractors come from Fredricks in Alabama with a 6 month warranty, he tacks on a modest profit AND 6 months more warranty to total one year. I would not hesitate to buy a UTDA tractor or hesitate to buy from Steve again. Thanks!!!

Steve is a really good guy. If you have a problem you do not have to track him down, he stays in touch with you. If I ever need another tractor I will just call him tell him what I want and when do I pick it up. He gets his tractors from Fredricks and both of these companies are top notch.

Yep, Steve at Spalding Tractor is top notch.

I bought my YM2210 from him and the first time I used it had problems with the lift and I barely managed to get the tractor back on the trailer after 2-3 hours of use. Took it back and he drained the tranny oil, cleaned the filter, and put new clean oil back in. He then called Fredricks to get instruction on how to bleed the lift better to get the air out. He also replaced a few pins I lost and the overrun coupler that broke without question. Haven't had to bother him since then, been about 6 months now I guess.

Always starts right away, and runs great. I've changed the oil and fuel filter now. I did have to weld a support piece on the lift lever bracket/guide, since that broke. I'm very pleased with my little Yammer Hammer. I'm currently redoing the blinker lights and going to either make them hazard or running lights. I'm also installing 2 Utility lights for the back of the tractor, with a switch on the dash.

Also if you want a spare key go to a John Deere dealership and tell them you need a key for a John Deere 850 tractor. Should cost $8 for two keys, they only sell them in pairs.

If you turn them into hazard lights please post how you do it. I do not want to loose my turn signals so I may need to change the lights out to dual element units but if I do I will gain a really nice pair of clearance lights for my trailer. With my BD dash any wiring or bulb replacement is absolutely a pain but the green turn signal indicators are just a beautiful shade of green, would love to see both of them flashing at the same time.

to turn them into hazard lights, wire a switch between the indicator lights when the switch is closed the blinkers will flash together and when open they will work normally.

Suds, how absolutely simple. Usually I am pretty good at thinking something through but I had gotten it in my head to wire in a whole new circuit and relay and forgot all about the first rule of any project...KISS(keep it simple stupid). Thanks for the KISS solution.
