spark arrester

If it's a diesel, just remove one screw and pull it out. It's a real fine mesh and looks like it would carbon up pretty fast. I removed mine and the engine has a deeper sound and better throttle response. Keep it handy in case you ride in an area that requires a spark arrester.

Tommy, Here is a free program for resizing pics that are too big to post .

When removing spark arrestor it should reduce back pressure which would help bottom end a little ,but then top end would suffer a little (needing to jet up) at high speed.

Tommy,

Look under the arrestor toward the engine side. It's a pretty small hex-head screw.

Take out the screw and the arrestor will pull right off.

i found it !. the sucker was a little clogged i have it off right now but i plan on cleaning it and putting it back on. i didn't notice much diference without it(alittle bit).i think i'm gonna try and back off the bolt on the floor under the gas pedal to see if i can get anymore out of her there(not that she needs anymore power).
