Speaking about being a geezer, floaters, who else deals with them?

I've some big ones for quite a few years. Like tinnitus, you learn to ignore them.

Also, most of us go through vitreous separation when we get older where the vitreous humor tears away from the lining of the eye. That produces some nifty floaters along with some blood cells (tiny black dots, like an inverse galaxy). It's sort of cool and the cells go away after some time. Another manifestation of that condition is where you look quickly from side-to-side and experience the parenthesis-shaped flashes of light in the corners of your eyes. That phenomena can last a couple of years as it did with me.

I'm 53, and got my first on at age 12. They've never really gotten worse.
