Oil & Fuel Specified Transmission Fluid Volume On TLD Models

I just changed the transmision fluid in my L35 TLB. The specs say it's a 41 quart capacity but 37 quarts brought it to full after a 10 minute warm up.

Does anyone know if the specs include the fluid in the loader and backhoe on a TLB model? I'm thinking that might be where the missing 4 quarts are stashed.

The owners manual shows four drains and I drained the all. I hope there isn't a fifth drain plug hidden somewhere!

I assume you replaced the filter as well - although I am not sure the filter would hold much.

One thing for sure - Kubota seems to have consistancy in inconsistancies in their fluid volume!
