specs for Yanmar 1720D

Hi guys. I'm new here. Just bought a YM1720D and after checking around I find there are no manuals to be had on it in English. I have a generic purchased from Hoyetractor but it contains info on bigger units. I'd like to find out the spec's on my unit (ie oil, fuel, transmission capacities, wiring, operations, and maintenance). She's a sweet running unit and it only had 91 hours on it when I got it (for cheep). I imagine it had over 900 hours on it as it's a grey model and was probably reset when it landed in the USA.
Anyway, if anyone has info out there, I'd sure like to hear from you.

I'll give you some capacities for a YM226. I expect they will be close to your 1720.
Crankcase with filter-3.9qts
fuel tank-5gl
cooling system without subtank-1.1gl
transmission-15.3qts
front drive gear case-5.8qts

I could give you a wiring diagram but have no idea it would be like yours. I believe most of the parts manuals come with a wiring diagram. Only problem, all the writing on these is Japanese. The operational manual for my YM2002d has a wiring diagram with english writing.

A operation manual might be a good investment for you. It has all the recommended maintenance schedule and operation instructions. Did Hoye not have an operation manual for the 1720?

Thanks for the info. I'll call Hoytractor and see. What I have was from them and most of what was in it applied to bigger tractors. I appreciate what you gave me. What happens if one fills the crankcase too full of oil?
