I was always going to get a Northern Hydraulic at 399.00, well I waited too long. Now there over 525.00 plus freight.
Been looking for something for about a year.
I started to line up parts to build one, I have the metal I beam and such, it would cost more than to buy one.
I found this one a TSC. 569.00 because it been outside, horizontal and vertical .

I bought one a couple years ago, it too was discounted due to weathering. No rust though, just faded paint. Works like a champ, but the stand is flimsy as **** - especially if you ever split on soft hillside.

Till now, I've been compensating by taking some weight off the stand with the TPH. But eventually I'll square up the frame and add leg braces.

Yes, I built the bucket on that some page. They did a nice cut on the steel, and all i did was to weld it together.

They also supply the kits for the Cad plans products. Check out their site.
