I dload the Princess Auto catalog section by section and then splice it together so I can load it all at once and search the whole thing when I'm not sure what section a part I'm looking for is in.
PA, as I call it, is just five minutes from my office and I often spend my lunch hour over there wandering around to help me relax after a stressful morning! Unfortunately I always seem to come out with something in my hand too... My garage has so many projects that i don't know where to start .
I noticed (in the store) that they have the speeco quick hitch for the three point also but it is $200 so I am waiting until it hopefully goes on sale.
The flyer I received last night, Currently has 100 W round 6" floodlights on sale for $28.88. The ad list spotlights and floodlights so I hope they have both in stock. I currently am in the process of mounting some 6" offroad spotlights on my roll bar but a test run revealed that floodlights will probably be better suited. I am going to try and go over there at luch today and check them out!
Tool box looks nice. I'll have to drop by for a look.
Hey Nice Guy, I was in the Kingston store last Monday and paused to show my wife the quick hitch. If they go onsale I hope they have enough for all of us.
My impulse buy of the day was a rebuilt sump pump for $25. I'll use it when I clean the well next week and then to make skating rinks on the bay infront of my place.
In the new flier they have a 4ft back blade for $270! Page32.
I bought a 6' from them many years ago; my tractor was at the upper limit of the "rated HP" and I tore it up pretty good. Added some steel and weld to it and it was ok.
If the Quick hitch goes on sale they will be out of stock before the sale starts
Seems like 90% of the time they are out of stock on the items I went there to get -- I think only TSC stores beats them for being out of stock on advertised items
I thought the new store in Ottawa would be better but seems about the same as the old one
The sale price is good 30 days before and after the sales starts. Sales start on Tuesday and mornings are insane. Best time to shop is Monday at 5 PM. Staff out numbers shoppers. Failing that, ask for a rain check. I once asked, in Ottawa, if an item was going on sale, the associate looked it up and said no. He then marked it down to sale price and gave me a note to take up to the cashier.
Well I went to the Kingston store at lunch and bought the 6" round floodlights plus, plus, plus.... $40 later. They seem like decent enough units. The price is right and if I don't like them I will just return them.
I like the Kingston store better than the Ottawa store. It's bigger and they seem to carry more stock. I have pretty good luck finding anything I want from their flyer but sometimes have to ask where things have been relocated to.
Tig- Are you actually in the "County" or are you on the Kingston side of the Ferry? I ask because I am doing a job at the Picton Hospital and take the Ferry quite often and there is a Kubota tractor parked under a portable garage two or three houses from the Ferry dock. There are limited areas where you could build an ice rink on the Lake and this would be one of them.
