I can't believe it but it happened today!

Spencer Jr. had the pleasure of meeting Spencer Sr. !

But the Jr. was actually the Sr. ... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif ...I suppose if I had been more productive in my youth I could have a kid Spencer's age...but my eldest is not far behind him...probaby only by a couple years... /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Well I guess the truth is I just feel like Spencer Jr... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Was great meeting another TBN brother!

Now if 5030 makes it this Wednesday...that will make three I have met so far! Really nice meeting guys from TBN! Ed King, the purple tractor guy was the first...

Here are a couple pictures...

Spencer...hope the drive back home was not too tiring...nice you had a chance to stop on your way home from that job in Deleware...

With all the great TBN'ers out there, it's hard to choose a favorite. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'll tell you what I think - I think it's absolutely disgusting that you are only 7 years younger than me (well, 8 years, I had a birthday this past week) and still have dark hair and beard. Mine have been nearly white for over 20 years.

But, what I really think is that it's neat that you guys got together. I know that I feel like I know some of you well enough that it seems like we've been in eye contact! I join in on a sports car racing forum, also, and I've had the chjance to meet many of the participants at various races. It's always neat. My new property is exactly half way between two road racing tracks (Sebring and Moroso, about 45 miles from each), and I have the feeling that once I get moved there, I'll be meeting a lot more of the guys. Any TBN'ers passing through Central Florida are welcome to drop me an Email, too...it's probably a year away, but I'll have a spot or two for visiting RV's to hook up for a day or two to visit.

Well I almost got to meet Spencer. He was in my neighborhood one day but I was out of town. Just hoping someday I will get the chance to meet him or anyone else here. I guess I almost had the chance to meet Bird also. If I remember right he or someone else was having surgery when I was in his neighborhood.

Henro, the drive back went just fine. I made it back home by 11:30 which was earlier than expected. On the drive home I was thinking that I should have written something like "Spencer was here" on you barn. Oh well, maybe next time. Thanks for lunch and your hospitality.

Spencer...you may have left your mark in another way.

Since I have a laptop...I am inches away from getting the GPS software and receiver that you recommended. Hard to pass it up for the price.

Now if I buy it I guess I will have to take a trip to test it out...watch out! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Guess I'll have to practice "Henro was here..."

It was really nice getting together...

Don,

Thats funny! For some reason my father had dark hair till the end...not much of it, but it was coal black...

My beard has white in it...just doesn't show in that picture. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

My wife says hair color is a function of how much you use your brain. Darker meaning less use... /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif...and unfortunately, after over 30 years I have learned that she is usually right!

Frank,

After the CW post regarding the bent backhoe boom...well, I think I did pretty good getting Spencer that close to an orange machine, considering he operates blue... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Actually it is pretty hard taking the time to wash the machine when I know the next day it will be in the mud again! But I do vow that before winter it will be washed, AND WAXED!

Nothing beats a clean, shiny machine of any color!
