None -yet. Until then FunBuggy (EZ-Go) will have to do!
Well, Spencer showed up in Janesville today to do a little work in a new Taco Bell. He gave me a call, and we were able to get together for dinner. He was just here for today, and headed for Kansas right after we ate.

Here's a picture of the Taco Bell where he spent a good part of his day on his back.

This is the unit that Spence worked on. It's really interesting to hear some of the details of how those units are operated and put together. I never knew that the areas where they keep the lettuce, tomatoes, and things like that had to be calibrated so carefully.

Here's what Spence uses to get around in when he's not driving his TC33D.

Here we are after a nice dinner. Notice the item on the table with the large arrow. Wanted to make sure everyone knows what the really important conversation revolved around! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thanks for the very pleasant evening Spence! I really enjoyed the short time we had together, and am truly looking forward to the time when we can sit down and have that L O N G talk we discussed. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

You live in Janesville? I have an uncle who's an engineer at the GM plant up there.
You don't work there by chance do ya? Only reason I ask is I know alot of people in the area work there, or a support industry of it.

What are they going to call and how are they going to serve the Brat?

Sure do. I've been here since about 1963. But no, I don't work for GM. There are actually a few people that live here that don't work for "The General", although that might surprise a few folks. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

What's your uncle's name? You never know, I might know him.

There's a saying around here that goes, "As goes GM, so goes Janesville." There is a certain amount of truth to that, because GM is the largest employer in the community. But there are a number of other very viable industries that contribute almost as much as GM does. But there is no question that if GM were to leave, it would put the hurts on the local economy big time!

I wouldn't know anything about what Taco Bell serves. I'm a big fan of Mexican food, so I haven't had anything from Taco Bell for quite awhile. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif Maybe if they DID serve some kind of brat, I might consider trying them again. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Spence did mention something that I didn't know. This new Taco Bell is actually replacing one that is down the street a bit. The one that is being replaced is the oldest Taco Bell in the U.S. I just kind of shook my head as I tried to figure out how the oldest Taco Bell ended being in Janesville, Wisconsin! /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
