Little blue is having a coughing spell on me. Maybe a head cold, probably old fuel is what I'm thinking though. Last filled my fuel barrel in April, so probably Summer mix.

StartUp is OK, coughs and rattles a bit as usual. Idle at 1500 or so is OK. Throttle up to 2500-2600 is OK. Above that starts smoking pretty bad and I can hear a faint miss. Added some Power Service white, Power Kleen and biocide. No noticeable difference. No detectable power loss when driving around hauling a trailer, but I noticed at full throttle it won't show much above 2900 whereas usually I see just over 3000.

Air temperature is around 45 or so. Machine hours show 170.

I haven't hardly used it at all in the last three months other than to start and idle for a few minutes or haul the trailer moving different things.

I guess the first step is to try fresh fuel?

If the smoke is white I suspect you may have some water in your fuel. Fuel could get moisture from condensation or even rain if stored outside. The additives you mention will help but results are not immediate. May be best to remove as much fuel as possible from the tractor tank and fill with fresh.

Now evicted, she runs smooth as can be, no puffs, no smoke, top RPM is back to 3230.

Great diagnostic buy ruffdog. I'll have to file that in the back of my mind. It will probably go in the CRS file.
I have seen the same symptoms from water in fuel too so don't rule that out if it happens again.

Look over all your rubber components
When I had a mouse nest I cleaned it out, looked over everything I could think of, but a month or two afterwards I was checking fluids and my burp tank was dry, didn't understand why.
Then I noticed the hose between the radiator and burp tank had some chew holes in it

Also, once your tractor smells like "mouse-house", it will draw other mice like a magnet. You might want to clean the inside of the filter box and hose with something like Lysol.
