Well, the weather changed this week. I was ice fishing last weekend and this weekend it is almost open water. They actually had a Coast Guard ice breaker working the port of Indiana on lake Michigan this week. Ice breakers in Indiana in the second week of March! Hasn't happened for 20 years.

So, today it was in the 60s! The ground has thawed in the first two inches. I did lots of work at the Little League park today with the Power Trac PT425. Filled in some low spots, built a pitcher's mound, edged one of the diamonds, cleaned up the mess and relocated a pile of railroad ties. Probably changed implements a dozen times today. Super productive 4 hours.

I agree, weather hit 74 today here in Minnesota. Montana hit 65 yesterday which caused heavy run off which closed many roads. Minnesota has record frost depth due to lack of snow. This will cause some problems for the shrubs and trees.
Very much ready for spring.

Most of our snow is gone but some of the 4 foot drifts are still hanging around, it has been such a long COLD winter this warm weather is great!

In the 70s in Maryland. I tilled the garden, but still had to dodge rock hard snow piles four feet high. Spread some stuff on the lawn, turned the compost piles and acted like it's spring. Time to plant the vegetables.

In the 50s in NY. And near 60 expected tomorrow. Maybe now the last foot of snow will finally give it up and we can get on with mud season. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I agree. I gave myself and the tractor a mud bath yesterday. I'll need to give it a good wash and lube before I use it again. 4 more hours till 100 hour maintenance.

all jokes aside, it might be a good idea. the front fenders wood keep you clean and it would keep the grim out of the steering jacks. like a half jeep front fender. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

The only things you would have to worry about is pinching your self between the fenders if you accidentally articulated the machine while you were standing next to it.
