Squealing F3680 mower deck

Since I've had this mower, I've notice a squeal coming from the deck when I get into heavier grass, or go faster in regular grass. I previously assumed it's something to do with the mower belts. But listening to it as I mowed today it occurred to me it might be a bearing squeal from pulling torque the belt is putting on the pulley went cutting heavier grass.

Any other F others have this squeal or relate to what I'm hearing?

Also, bear in mine the last two years my hearing has deteriorated, audiogram says severe SNHL, meaning it's bad. I'm going to get hearing aids next year....so this might be louder than I think.

No problem here, but then mine has only 10 hours on it. Not knowing how much time yours has on it, I'd look at the belt and the tension spring first. Belt may be stretched enough by now to cause this squeal. I'm sure you're greasing the deck regularly......

Greasing?....what's that?

This last mowing, I took three stabs at it. This evening had about 40 minutes more to do....and I didn't hear that squeal once. I did hear it this morning, and noticed it did it when the mower was tilted up as it went over some undulations. Made me think of the front U joint. But why nothing this evening, not sure.
