Anybody else own these and use them on FM? They have no tone control and have no base at all. And that's saying something from a guy that isn't a big base fan.

I have used my Work Tunes Brand Headset for Years and they sound great!

Worst thing is, this STANLEY product has been taken over by the hugely dysfunctional HONEYWELL brand!

Why in the world are you using muffs? There are noise canceling ear buds, or you can put muffs over ear buds if environmental noise is a problem. I have a set of ear buds that are flat from 20-20,000 hz, and I think I paid less than 30 dollars for them. You can listen to any music source you like. I use my cell phone and a playlist, or listen to audio books, but you can plug it into a tiny radio, iPod, or whatever.

Here's a hint for wearing ear buds: the wires go over the ear. That way they don't pull the bud out of the ear canal.

They seem like the most convenient approach. I like FM off-air, or rebroadcast Sat TV audio on my own FM transmitter (Ramsay) locally. It's nice to have someone else make the selections.

I can't deal with fiddly little wires while operating equipment. As it is, the antenna from my Work Tunes Headset, always gets caught in the windsheild fan of my loader. Or when running the Steiner under apple trees, it's not uncommon to have the whole thing ripped off my head. Ear buds wouldn't last a day.
