The biggest problem with changing the starter on this new stuff is ample room to work. They got everything, parts and what not, so tight and in close proximity that something that should be simple turns into a pain in the @@@. If you stripped some teeth, it is in the bell housing/fly wheel area and should not affect the engine oil. However, if you stripped teeth of the flywheel that could be a bigger issue. You generally have to split the tractor to get to the flywheel. The silver lining is and picking the lesser of 2 evils, if you had a run away starter it will make all kinds of noise and the fly wheel will be ok. To change the starter, and i'm not that familiar with that particular model, but i say your going to probably have 2 or 3 metric bolts holding the starter on and then the wires going to the solenoid. Sounds simple and i guess thats why they call them sub compacts, but the engineers probably did not give you a whole lot of room to work. Hope this helps and good luck with it.
