Oil & Fuel steel fuel lines ym240

Has anyone replaced the steel fuel lines with lines other than the solid steel fuel lines, or where is a good place to find these lines? I tried Hoye - no luck. Thanks, jbrd

Unless the line is an injector line, I see no problem replacing with a flexible fuel line.

Just be shure that you have barbed fittings to connect and use automotive clamps to fasten firmly.
Also be careful of routing to prevent chaffing and clamp/tie the line to framework etc.

Also be shure that the line you use is 'fuel rated' and not big box store multi purpose plastic.

Try a Yanmar authorized parts dealer.

Brake shops fabricate steel lines all the time. I don't know if the pressures are comparable, however. Or try a hydraulic shop.
