Steering Gear box

I got a Mitsubishi Tractor not really sure what model been told several different ones, but no more right turn. Question is can you get parts to rebuild the gear box or are you stuck buying the whole thing? Attached is a picture of the tractor if you can figure out what it is. It has a 2cyl diesel and the stamp on the motor is K2 31120 found near injection pump. I think I found the data plate but has been painted over so will have to get a mild paint remover and do a little at a time. Hopefully it is stamped not embossed.

Suzue was a rebadged Mitsubishi and the net shows several references to an M2000 model. I'd say the "1.302" on the tag denotes engine liters and since the KE135 is a 2 cylinder 1302cc engine, I would guess that's what engine you have. The "20ps...2400RPM" is PS=This unit (German: Pferdest�ke = horse strength) was commonly used in Europe, South America, Japan and India especially by the automotive and motorcycle industry. About 20.4 HP at the pto. There are Mitsubishi "K2" engines ( K2A,B and C models) but they are much smaller than 1.302L so I'm sticking with it being a KE135.

I see on Valley Power's website that the KE135 was used in D2500 and ST2501 Mitsubishi models and they ( I assume) are actually 25 PTO HP models.

Hey...even figured out the Large Japanese Katakana symbols. SuSu Torakutā ( means "Japanese Tractor"). Your on your own with what it says at the bottom :thumbsup:
