Steering wheel height on GC 1700 series (GC1705)

Does anyone else find that the steering wheel seems maybe a little low, that maybe it would be a nice option to have a telescoping steering column or a lower seat height. Has anyone ever retro fitted a telescoping column on one?

Yup its very low, i have had mine now for a year almost so after some time on it I would love to see a adapter kit. But knowing massey they will probably want 1,000 dollars for it.

I believe I heard the GC was getting a taller steering wheel later this year - if the change is just to the steering wheel itself I believe it would be interchangeable.

I agree; sometimes it's more like piloting a quad than a tractor and when working inclines, it's a bit harder to hold back in the seat. Before the safety police ask: Yes, while wearing the seatbelt.:thumbsup:

When I bought my GC2610, I thought I was going to have to raise the steering wheel and lengthen the joy sticks but have gotten used to using them as-is while waiting for the warranty to expire.
