I have a TC33d that has a steering wheel problem. The telescoping doesn't work. I can't turn the knob to loosen it. I didn't really want to force it too much, afraid I'd break something again. I'm good at that. Any Ideas?

My TC29D teloscopic does not work either. Has been frozen for about 6 years. I really worked to free it up but also gave up because of the concern of breaking something. I tried penetrating oil, and every idea to free it up. No luck, so the position it is in is it.

I have a TC25D with the same problem. I took the top cover off the steering wheel cap and its obvious that water and dirt can get under that cover and probably work their way down into the mechanism. In my case the thing has locked as "free" so I can pull it up and down, but it won't hold.
