Stick Welding Stainless Steel with 308L-16 Electrodes (Video)

Morning, TBN!

Heres a quick Saturday video that I just wanted to share with y'all...

I'd recently had a few requests for a stick welding video on Stainless Steel, to compliment the Aluminum and Cast Iron stick welding I'd done...

So, I picked up a box of 3/32" Hobart 308L-16 Electrodes from a Tractor Supply store, and made this video while I was in Wisconsin...

It was awesome! I'd been told these things run very smooth, and let me tell you, they do! They "hiss" as they run, and leave a weld with beautiful colors behind.

SS really lends itself to Stick Welding. Turns out like Sub-Arc. Very enjoyable if you like to stick weld.
