Hi,
I am slowly recovering an imported Japanese ST1510d from the neglect of the previous owner. Being in Australia, the satoh/mitsubishi's seem to be very uncommon over here, but Valley power has been a huge help with finding replacement gears and other stuff that is not available here.
Mine seems to be similar to the s370 beaver, but with a CCW small pto, and a KE75 engine.
When I got mine it had a damaged third/top gear with the five teeth stripped off the layshaft gear. Is this common? has anyone else experienced this problem? Should I be worried about the strength of this gear? When I looked at the gear pdf's on valley power site it shows the same gears with little ticks on them which makes me think others have had the same problem.
On a different track, I am in the process of re-spraying it, and have sanded off the (Japanese) stickers, does anyone know where I can get the "how to use" stickers for the PTO, 3pl, etc.
thanks in advance for your help,
Chris
