Stihl BR 600 fuel tank repair?

Anybody ever take apart their fuel tank on the Stihl BR 600? I would like to inspect the fuel hoses/filters inside, but, can seem to get it apart. thoughts? Carb doesn't seem to be getting fuel and when I press the primer pump, it doesn't suck up any fuel. I can hear a whistle when I pump, down in the tank. When I disconnect the tube, connected to the primer pump, and take the hose from the top of the tank and sink it into the fuel, I can see bubbles when I press the primer. I'm confident the primer is working fine....
