Stihl BR420 Blower

I have an opportunity to buy a slightly used (approx 10 hrs) Stihl BR420 backpack blower for $300. Is this a good deal, or should I just spend the same amount on a new BR380?

Why is it for sale? 10 hours isn't much run time, $300 sounds respectful for a Stihl that wasn't used for commercial use.
Don't want to think it but will say it....could it be "hot" or stolen? I had one stolen a few years ago that "walked away" from a trailer in the parking lot.

It crossed my mind, but I don't think it's the case in this situation. Regardless, I think I'm going to buy new from the dealer I bought my Kubota from.

Well deereguy got me thinking (maybe too much), so I made my way over to the Stihl dealer and bought the BR600. I wasn't even considering that machine until I tried it. Holy cr%$ -- my shoulder is still sore from the force.
