Stijl 026 trouble

I have trouble with my 026 Stijl ,when I hold saw up to cut a overhead limb the saw will stall, I suspect it is lack of fuel …. Any ideas ?

I would start by replacing the fuel filter AND the FUEL PICK UP.
This is the rubber hose that runs from the fuel filter through the fuel tank to the carb.
Stihl likes this fuel line replaced EVERY year.
I fix a lot of saws and this is the one single maintenance item most people don't ever seem to do and is very often the cause of sputtering/stalling/etc....
Its a supper cheap part to replace in bulk I get them for about $5

First off, you NEVER cut over your head, asking for trouble and secondly it's a STIHL, not a STIJL. Sounds to me like it's gunked up with e-gas. Take it to a saw shop and have them fix it. Tell them it's a STIHL (STEEL), or they won't have a clue what you have.
