HI all,
I bought an old Kubota L-175 and have a problem/question. I have contacted three different Kubota dealers in my area about a ROPS for the tractor and I can't get an answer from any of them. I originally contacted my closest dealer and he did say that he didn't believe that a ROPS was available. A reply to my previous post led me to the Kubota site which shows that a ROPS was made for the tractor. I contacted the dealer again and told him about the info on the web site he said he would get back to me. Well he hasn't contacted me in a week, nor have the other two dealers in the area. An e-mail to Kubota hasn't been answered either. I feel that if I could just get a part number that I might be able to find out if this ROPS is still available. Any suggestions or advice would be helpful. This is a good little tractor and I want to feel confortable about using it. I know that the ROPS is cheap insurance against mistakes but still not a substitute for sensible operational safety. All the same I would still like one.
