Still wont start

Tried of this tractor kioti dk 40se hst. Still wont start and when you do get it to run if you dig into sand at high Roma it dies out. Then you spend a hr to get it to start again. Do I called kioti and left a message for the rep to call me back I want out of this lemon tractor. Sad got this for a non profit and it spends more time down then running. Dealer wants 400.00 to come get it and they have one mechanic so it would be two week before they could look at it, that if we could raise $$ to get it to them. At this point I. Want out a gave them a chance to make it right from day one of owning this tractor.

Sorry man. I had a lemon CK30 and stayed with Kioti because my dealer made me an offer to get me out of it that I couldn't refuse. I don't know what Kioti would do other than fix it under warranty, and like you said, it's going to cost you to float it to them. Anyway, good luck, maybe a dealer will work something out if you trade it for another. If you're going to spend some money on yours anyway (and it sounds like you are), might as well spend it and get a new tractor out of it that hopefully is as trouble free as my DK45 has been.

I called the Maine attorney generals office which is sending a form out and they will help us. Getting tired of the run around with kioti corp. it's is protracted under the lemon law. Even If kioti fixes it may last a month if lucky that it will start. Last time it took a month to get a ignition switch.

Hasn't gotten wet has it?
I had mine sitting outside for a few days and it would start hard but wouldn't stay running.
Called the dealer and he asked a few questions and boom, told me to remove gas cap and see if it would run, sure enough water created to much of a seal I quess and was causing it to choke out. Don't know much but that, thought I would throw it out there.

kioti put the fuel filter behind the fuel pump .Not smart!! pull the fuel line off and see if it is stopped up .I found a bunch of stuff blocking mine . I installed a filter in front of the fuel pump. Works well .Hope this is your problem....

UR12: You are responding to an old post. At last report LAK's tractor is fixed (for good, we hope).

On the point, my Mercedes Diesel cars all had a strainer in the fuel tank, a small, see-through, inline "primary" filter upstream of the lift pump, and a big "spin-on" style "secondary" filter downstream of the lift pump. Those primary filters were only $2-3 and should be easy to add to a tractor if this is a concern. The likely scenario would be crud jamming one of the check valves open in the lift pump, rendering it inop.
