I can't nobody else has stumbled upon a couple "consummating" their love for the outdoors. I was about 13 and it definitely left a memory!

Well, I've been on the other end of that situation at about 19yo.

I'll spare the details. It was a deal breaker for her when that guy rabbit hunting let out a war cry though.

I even knew the guy, thanks Larry!

My girlfriend and I were caught naked in the front seat of her daddies Cadillac. Windows all steamed up. Cop knocked on the window, " what are you doing?" I pulled my pants on, opened the window, and said " nothing officer!!!" We got away with a warning. I wonder how long he was out there?

When my wife and I were dating, we'd spend evenings in a car listening to the radio (that's my story) out in an old, abandoned gravel pit. I had a 70 Nova that I'd take off road with no problems as long as it was dry. Anyhow, we'd get a running start and drive right up to the top of the highest tailings pile in that pit and turn out the lights. From up there, you could see people coming and going through the pit all night, but they never knew we were up there. Well, one night we're up there and we see headlights come in from the back of the pit, which was unusual in itself. And we see the light beams going up and down and around and around and clouds and clouds of dust. Man, this guy is beating the snot out of this truck! Back and forth across the pit over and over again. Then, UH OH, we see him swing around the road behind the pile we're on top of and before you know it, these lights comes flying up the hill, the guy he's about to rear-end us, slams on his brakes and skids to a stop right next to my wife's window! It's an Indiana State Trooper in a car! I'm thinking Oh Boy, I've had it. The dust settles. He realizes we've been watching him beat the poop out of his state vehicle for the last 10 minutes. His eyes are as wide as ours. Its summer, so the windows are down in both our cars. We sit there looking at each other in silence for about 5 seconds, and then he says "Everything all right in there ma'am?" She says "Yep!". He says "Have a good night." And off he goes!

Now, I've had several cops pull up to us while we were parked over the years on flat land. They always gave us the spotlight, the flashlight tap on the window. The third degree. "What are you doing out here?" "Do your parents know you're out here?" "What would your parents say if I called them?" and the ever popular question to my wife, "Are you here on your own free will?" But that was the shortest and sweetest interaction I've ever had with the police in my entire life. :D

All right, I'll try to keep this 'Salty Sea Tale' short...

When I was in the RCN on HMCS RESTIGOUCHE (River Class DDE out of Esquimalt, BC) we had a 'family day' cruise. Just a short day out onto the Straights of Juan De Fuca... BBQ lunch, show the family something of what we do, that sort of thing. So, everyone who isn't 'on watch' is on the upper deck as we're sailing back into port when a small cabin sailboat is spotted in our path... it seems to be abandoned, just drifting along in a fairly busy shipping lane. We slow down and, at about 25yds distant, give a quick blast of the ship's whistle (horn = think 'train engine' loud).

Up pops a lady's head (from the boat's cockpit), her eyes bulging as she sees this huge grey bow (with lots of people waving 'hello') looming over her! She looks down and SMACKS the bloke who's lounging there, then scrambles her naked butt down into the cabin. The sailboat skipper then waves back to us and steers his boat out of our way.

He didn't bother putting his pants back on. No point, really.

Well, I'll join in on the "derailed thread stories".... LOL!

Back in college I had a little 4WD Subaru that my girlfriend and I would drive up a railroad maintenance/access road by the tracks just off campus. It was pretty secluded and quiet, so we'd spread a blanket and look at the stars. :) One night the train went by and the engineer gave a little extra whistle as he went by. The guy in the caboose had a powerful spotlight that he shined on us as he went by.

Same girl, same car, same university... There was a little spot on campus where the frats and other groups would have bonfires and parties. She and I were up there by ourselves one night, parked in the car. I was so busy looking into her eyes that I didn't notice the campus cop that pulled up in front of us and suddenly turned on all his lights! Talk about getting caught with your pants down! Same girl, same spot a couple of weeks later - the weather was a little more conducive to being outside of the car, so we had a blanket about 75 feet away. This time we saw the cop turn off his lights and come zooming up the hill to where the car was parked. We laughed when he flipped on all the lights! I walked over there and it was the same cop as before. He was not amused when I suggested that we might want to be on a first name basis if he was going to keep joining us!

OK - back to "Things found in the forest".... :D
