I'm slowly shopping for a backhoe - might still be shopping 2 years from now.... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
Anyhow, I ran across:
http://www.free-tractor-manuals.com/index.html
In my searching. Very odd site. They feature a no-name American made backhoe as well as a name brand, but talk up grey-market tractors. They have you fill out a very big questionare to get a price on a backhoe, but it's very difficult to even learn what state they are in, much less their real name or anything about them. Their free tractor manuals are actually 2 exe programs that I'm not sure I would want to run on my computer, based on the rest of their web site.
It's a real crash-course of some good ideas & good info but just as a person gets to the punchline, they throw a curve & make it all seem real fishy & suspicious. Like offering parts but _only_ to people who have bought at least 1 tractor from them.
What's up, anyone ever try any business with this place? The offer to purchase/find for you is pretty suspicious as they are obviously alined with some dealers..... Would be interested in more info on their backhoe, but feel like I'd get an infection trying to deal with them...... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
