That would be a discussion you would have to have with your provincial DMV.

Check with the Ministry of NS. Here in Ontario only a single rider ATV is road legal, must be plsted and insured. They have only begun tne process of devining two ups and UTV's.

If there is no legislation defining whether it is legal or not, you may only be allowed to cross roads like sleds.
Keep us posted.

Wilsoncrest, how are things in Skye glen these days? I think if you have the required lighting such as on your tractors you should be able to get it plated as a farm vehicle.

Last time I was in the UK, I had the opportunity to attend a Motorcycle Show in Birmingham. I was amazed to find that their ATV's all have to be street legal, which means that they had working running, turn & brake lights. The same manufactures we have in the states outfit them from the factory. If lighting, horn etc is what is required, I suggest writing to Polaris and see if you can purchase a 'kit' to outfit with these options. Just a thought. Of course that doesn't address local laws.

Local JD dealer here in CT told me that the new Gator 825i with the proper options (lights, blinkers, horn, Etc.) can be registered for street use. He cliamed one customer actually used one to commute to and from work in town. They can go 50 MPH so I guess they could keep up with local traffic on back roads at least.
