Stuck in forward

Have an Old R510 B, It's stuck in forward, took off F&R solenoid cleaned and bench tested, seems to be working. Put it on and left it un hooked statred, put lever in drive and still goes forward.
Has power. New F&R shift lever, new HST pump. Still only goes forward. Any ideas? Thanks

broken shift fork or linkage disconnected somewhere

Nope. Everything hooked up, goes forward. Unhook everything, goes forward.

Do you have the fwd/rev shift lever on the steering column or two foot pedals? We had a different machine with the lever that had electrical switch problems and sticky contactors. Electrical problems can be frustrating and nebulous.
