reminds me of the day we went to the Massey dealer in Quincy Fl. we had an old disc harrow we were rebuilding, we couldnt get some of the old bearings apart, we brought them with us to help match up new ones and ask the old timers, how to get them a part, or if we needed to buy a whole assembly. The old man, spit in his can, picked up the bearing assembly, hefted it, up and down twice, like he was guessing its weight ?... then with surprizing speed and power Threw the **** thing on the concrete floor. bent over picked up the perfectly seperated peices, matched them up with new parts from the bins. and we were on our way. Lesson learned, you cant be gentle with stuff that you drag through the dirt all day.
