stuck piston on lift cylinder

Hi guys, I have a 54 jubilee. I am trying to get the piston out of the lift cylinder. I have tried blowing air in the ports to push the piston out as stated in the repair manual, but its not moving. Any suggestions?? Thanks again for your help, Joe
