You are so correct with that statement. That is why I stress shopping around. I first attempted to remove them myself with an Allmand TLB. But this was truely a waste of time and money.
Again shop around get prices..
Also as stated in other posts, depending on what you want to do, you can rent a stump grinder or have someone come in a grind them.. There was a lad in my area that was grinding stumps for 10-25 dollars per stump depending on size and if he needed to cut the stump down with a chain saw. I watched him do some work on my neighbers property and he made it look easy.. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif )</font>

At 10 to 25 bucks a stump I have probably 30 of them for him.
Sure beats the 100 a stump price around here.
