I recently cleared an area of trees. Now I want to plow it up for a foodplot. I did the same thing last spring, and it was very frustrating plowing with a moldboard through all those roots left by the cleared trees.
I recently picked up a subsoiler at a auction. My thought this time around is run the subsoiler through the area prior to plowing to loosen the roots and in theory make the plowing much easier. Anyone ever tried that? Do you think it will help with the plowing?
