Successful Hunter\'s photos

After seeing the photos of COWBOYDOC's grandpa's moose in the wildgame post, and by reading the profiles I see that there are alot of hunter's here on TBN. So I thought others would like to see who has been successful out in the wood and fields. Oh don't forget the waterways as well, so all the fishermen should show off as well! Here is the buck I got with the bow this year. He green scored 110", and sure was tasty! So come on show off the big one that didn't get away!

And here is a gray fox that I got at 12:30 a.m. with a temp of 2 above freezing! We hunted for 5 hours that night and saw 4 fox and 2 coyotes.

Re: Successful Hunter\'s photos

Thats indeed a nice looking 7 pointer, and I bet he could hold his own during rut season.
How much did he weight and what was the date you harvest him.
May 2001 bring the same luck.

Did you ever hear that gray fox can climb a tree but a red fox can't...I wonder if thats true or not.

Re: Successful Hunter\'s photos

Thomas,
I got the buck on Nov. 1st. last fall and he dressed out about 175 lbs. As for fox climbing trees I have heard the same thing but have never seen it. I have seen a woodchuck climb a tree once!
I hope to get out soon for turkey, I've had my eye on a flock of 43 that are in the area.

Re: Successful Hunter\'s photos

Your harvest weight was 3lbs more than my 7 pointer, and by the looks they were cousins. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif
Turkeys are having it rough over in these parts now.
Do you Turkey hunt w/a bow...talk about thrill. /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif
