Hi all
On an older 4110 has directions printed on hydraulic filter. They say to "clean" filter and magnet after 50 hr then every 100 hours of operation. I Happened to glance at a new 4110 when picking up some parts. Directions on filter housing says to change filter every 300 hours. No mention of even 50 hour service. I wonder if owners manual on older machines give different directions for same machine. Of course, pumps may be different, thus, different service requirements. One service guy tells me hydraulic fluid should be changed out at 50 hours. Another says no need to do such thing, especially if using to mow grass and other light duty work. So I wondered if directions have changed as the tractors got newer.
Wondering and enjoying the dog days of summer...
