suction filter

I see notes in other sections on cleaning suction filters. I do not recall anything in the PM 's for Boomers about suction filters? Maybe I missed it. Do NH boomers have suctions filters that need to be cleaned? Can you get to them? Not that I anticipate having this problem, just curious.

I don't own a boomer, but I check NH website for TC29 &45. Neither one shows a suction screen for the Hyd pump. It does not appear that you have a suction screen but you do have a suction filter on Hyd pump. I do have a suction strainer on my 1700 that I had to remove and clean prior to hydraulic fluid change.

As JC-jetro said, your tractor has a suction filter instead of a suction screen. All oil drawn from the reservoir goes through a large suction filter. My tractor also has an additional HST filter for even smaller particles. I think your TC34DA does also.

yup Suction filter and HST filter. Thanks I meant screen in my question.
